Once we head out of winter and the flowers start to come up in my garden, I always get the urge to refresh my home with some new furniture and decor pieces. I’m always an advocate for supporting local businesses, so I thought I’d list some of my favourite businesses in the heart of South Delta that have some unique furniture pieces and home decor pieces. I hope you find some gems in these stores as well. It’s a great time to support local and get the spring vibes happening in your home.
Beach Grove Cafe and Boutique
I’m currently loving their Distressed Ivory Finial Lamp, Aged Cream Metal Pitcher, and Serenity Light Blue Roses Pillow. These items work perfectly in a farmhouse feel, and dusty blue is always a spring tone to me. Plus, the pitcher can be changed out seasonally with ever-changing faux flowers. I also can’t get enough of their pastries and coffee, as it’s easy to build up an appetite from decor shopping.

Revival Antiques
This is one of my favourites for rustic old unique finds. I love stumbling upon interesting farmhouse furniture pieces filled with character and charm. It’s also much more sustainable to buy secondhand and you can find some items that have exquisite detailing and superior quality of wood. I adore my vintage Chandelier and shelving unit, which are some of my favourite lucky finds from this store.

Painted Crow Furniture
If you’ve always wanted a traditional furniture piece that has been lovingly refinished in a fun paint colour, look no further than the Painted Crow. Everything from one-of-a-kind nightstands, china cabinets, dressers, and mirrors. You will find pieces done in white, yellow, green, and duck egg blue, which is my personal favourite.

West Coasts Seeds
This isn’t just an incredible place to buy seeds and gardening supplies. They also have a really thoughtful selection of home decor items such as hand-forged brass candlesticks, life-like faux florals, artistic vases and tableware, beautifully patterned toss cushions, and table runners. Their faux hydrangeas and brass candlesticks are some of my favourites.

Mia Mason Co. Home Goods
This gem of a store not only has gorgeous jewelry and clothes, but it also has a thoughtfully curated collection of home decor. Right now, I’m getting my backyard patio and heat lamp set up for sunny spring days. This beach-striped brushed throw, chantham rattan round tray, and zora luna forged candlesticks are perfect touches to set the tone for spring and summer.
